Ghana Make a Difference (GMAD) is happy to offer three different internships; Education, Social Work and an Administrative NGO Internship. Click on the links above for more information on each of the internships. There is a 30 day minimum stay at the GMAD home to be considered for an internship.
If the three internships don't interest you and you have something else in mind, feel free to contact Austin Johnson at [email protected]. Austin will also be your point of contact when/if your educational institution requires your internship host to fill out specific paperwork or if you have any questions regarding internships at GMAD.

Multiple Ghana government agencies that oversee the GMAD children’s home in Ghana require a criminal background check for all GMAD volunteers 18 and older. We cannot approve you to be a GMAD volunteer without a clean background report. A link to the background check is located on our website.
Step 4: Pay your program fees |
Once you have completed steps one through three and after your application has been approved, in order to reserve your bed at the volunteer house in Ghana, you will need to pay your volunteer fees 30 days before your departure to Ghana. Your application is NOT FINALIZED and we cannot guarantee a spot for you in Ghana until you have paid ALL of your volunteer fees
