SAMPLE ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Depart USA.
DAY 2 - Arrive in Ghana. Travel by bus to GMAD Children's Home.
DAY 3 - Project work.
DAY 4 - Project work.
DAY 5 - 
Project work.
DAY 6 - Attend church. Visit local village.
DAY 7 - 
Project work.
DAY 8 - Visit the market and sites in Accra.
DAY 9 - Project work.
DAY 10 -
Canopy walk through the rainforest and stay at Coconut Grove Village.
DAY 11 - Enjoy the beach, visit the slave castle, and enjoy a cultural workshop.
DAY 12 - Project work.
DAY 13 - Attend church.

DAY 14 - Activities and farewell party with GMAD children.
DAY 15 - Travel to airport. Fly home.

COST

Program fee + Flights
airfare typically varies between $1,300 and $1,700
Program fee includes food at GMAD home, all lodging, in-country transportation and activities (Canopy Walk at Kakum National Park, Slave Castle in Elmina, and Global Mamas Cultural Workshops in Cape Coast)

​We shelter children who have been rescued from forced labor trafficking, abandonment, or who have special needs until we are able to reintegrate them with their biological family or to place them in a new family.

We preserve families and provide a path to self reliance through shelter, life skills, education and medical care.
