There are many parentless children in Ghana who need a home. We have raised enough money to buy land, and we have looked at some potential ground to house a new facility for up to 48 children. 100% of your donation will go directly to helping these children. 100%, really. Please follow my upcoming posts and/or visit www.ghanamakeadifference.org to learn more about this great cause.
We are also here in Ghana to pick up our two newly adopted children: eight (or nine) year-old twins. We always thought they were 8; they didn’t have birth certificates so some were recently created for the adoption, and the birth certificates state that they are 9 years old. Typo or truth, regardless, they are now 9 years old (or 8).
I need to be clear. Our work with Ghana Make A Difference, and the building of a new orphanage home, has nothing to do with our adoption. The children we will help through Ghana Make A Difference will in no way be connected to the home from which we are adopting, and our work with Ghana Make A Difference is in no way connected to our adoption. So once again, rest assured that 100% of any donation you make will go to help parentless children, nothing else and no one else.
